Boys,No Longer In Army? Sell Your Helmets Away!

Guy selling away his SAF helmet for good (money)!

Well, in desperate measures for money, sure, everything sells. Even freebies suddenly look like they have value for money. Isn't that why you go online and you see online auctions and bids for a used travel bag (with a huge ass logo of some Chinese Travel agency;chances are the person got it for free) or used Ocean Pacific skirt "rarely worn". Who the fuck wants to buy your used garments! It's as good as putting your soiled underwear for auction!!!!

Any way, the point is, selling FREE stuff is a no go. This guy must be kidding. The Best Part? Someone actually bidded for the $10/- army helmet.

OCSiaon (the bidder) said he wants to purchase the helmet so that he can "train in [his] mock FIBUA (fighting in build up area) training in [his] housing estate"   

ROFLOL 

Excuse me, errr, training in your housing estate with a SAF helmet, not very ideal, no matter siao on you think you are. THAT is what I call CREEPY.

In my humble opinion, selling away a SAF helmet seems more like an act of irresponsibility. Boys, you are being thrusted (pun intended) with that green no. 4 uniform (I know, it's green, dull and boring green) uniform for a reason.

Maybe you decide to sell your army uniform away because you think your ka na sai KNS army bunk mate whom you hated accidently wore your uniform and being superstitious, you don't want to keep such Suay-ness in your wardobe after you ORD.

Don't want to keep it? Then give it to someone you think that deserves a momento from your army days. Pass it on. Just like how uncles pass their army green pants to their nephews (before they changed the uniform recently).

Why would you want to sell a valuable SAF helmet away? You (army boys) sweat in it, soiled it (not with your shit) and spent 2 years with it and now you want to auction it for measly 10 bucks!? Shame on you -who ever plans to sell this-

According to other reports, right now in the market, there are cosplay "costumes" looking like the SAF No. 3 uniform!

Maybe girls got it altered somehow to make it look sexier for BETTER use? I have no idea!!

We I should get one!

Show Me Your Teeth - oral exam & oral hygiene

Has it ever occur to you that you NEED to bring a toothpaste and a toothbrush to work?

It never occured to me that I have to have my tooth pals packed in my little handbag. Like, why would I ever need it (because I barely eat during lunch time anyways BUT that is not the point!)

Anyhoos, there is this office lady somwhere from one of the offices here who toothbrushes her teeth after every lunch time. I've met her (or heard her) scrubing the gum diseases away. I like this.

Good oral hygiene. This is fantastic. I should really start doing it tomorrow. Infact, me and her, we can be brush-teeth-at-the-sink-together buddies! (like primary school times)

Speaking of oral hygiene and primary school...

Why do we have oral exam? Why is it even called oral exam?

We really start things from young hur.

How To Have Great Hair Like Mine

The truth is no, I do not have great hair. I USED TO have black bristled hair you know.

But after my Junior College years, it was total freedom for me because finally I get to add a tinge of brown on my hair and truthfully, the first time I dyed my hair at the saloon, the colour was not so great. It was like a dark bronze and the saloon lady used the same "the colour will show when you are in the sun" trick.

So, recently I decided to go DIY.

I wanted my hair to be stricking BLONDE, as I was inspired to be like Lady Gaga.

But in order to do so, I need to bleach my hair (for real!) and even before that particular process, I need to use some decolouration chemical blabla WHAT A HASSLE.

So at the end of the day, I went for Beuteen's Bleach Blonde shade.

So that is how I ended up with this goldish brown for my mane!!

yaayyy!

BUT, I will not advise you to DIY if you have hair that is super straight! Because chances are you won't colour all your hair parts evenly and you will end up with patces of undyed hair :( Not a pretty sight.

For those who intend to perm their hair, hey, any kind of perm (magic perm, japanese perm, ionic perm) is the SAME, it is just the matter of how you care for it. If after perming, you realise that your curls look way too springy like a pig's tail (no offence!) do not use your hand or comb to brush down the curls!

Also, do not wash your hair for atleast 3 days to allow the chemicals to set in :)

To care for your perms is the easiest part to do!

Wash and damp your hair and to "secure" the curls, use styling mousse! Crunch it in an upwards motion from the edge of your hair to somewhere in the mid of your head.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BLOW DRY.

If you do this correctly, you perm can last you 6 months!

It's really easy to manage permed hair as compared to rebonded hair. REALLY! I've tried both and I still prefer luscious curls anytime.

But the truth is, too much colouring, rebonding and perming leaves my hair sickly dried at the ends (the top roots looks perfectly healthy!)

I am trying out on Essence as advertised on Xiaxue's and Nadnut's blog, but I think their conditioner is just horrible. It smells real sweet from the bottle, but once you plastered it on your root ends and wash off, no sweet smell or whatsoever stays on.

So, my personal favourite is still Sunsilk! Affordable and really good to the max! I used Sunsilk conditioner for coloured and damaged hair and within days, my root ends look healthier and no signs of hair breakage!

All Things Chinese

Dear blog,

I have been neglecting you and this is a disgrace to myself. Neglecting my own passion and covering it up with "i am so busy" or "i am too tired to blog" BLABLABLA.

I am looking at clothes to buy because Chinese New Year is THIS WEEK and everyone is shopping SO I NEED TO HELP THE ECONOMY too although I don't celebrate CNY. What a pity right?

I was looking through Livejournal blogshops and somehow I envy these pretty girls posing with the throngs of clothes. I aso wan. I mean the clothes.

I told my friends before how I like girls who look like real english-looking and not ah lians. Most ah lians (LA MEI) are pretty lar, but I just don't like their look. It's so sluggish and the kind of face that they have is like one that you just want to have a slap on.

Pretty lar pretty lar. But looking at your face makes me so depressed. Wearing such good clothes yet looking so demonic. Scares me.

I NEED TO GET ONE OF THOSE LACE (not LACEY) low-back BLACK dresses.

So it is going to be a long weekend and I have my Chinese New Year plans ready.

Eve of CNY - Off to Malaysia's Immigration afterwhich, BBQ at home. Yessa. BBQ-ed crabs and corns.

CNY Day 1 - Study and finish off tutorials. Wait. There's aplenty. So I'd take a day or two to finish them all.

CNY Day 2 - Slog at home, study and get plenty of eye shut. Go away EYE BAGS.

CNY Day 3 - Erms, study some more?

CNY Day 4 - Oh I totally forgot, I have project to complete. Haha. Bless me.

And back to work on Thursday.

P/s I am learning mandarin online. It is so funny because they have these audio clips to hear how the pronunciation sounds like. I keep on playing them over and over again and still don't get it.

Wo hen hao.

It is so much easier without the tiny strokes in the hanyu pinyin. But it won't sound like I'm speaking mandarin 'cos Z said "You can speak chinese but your intonation is WRONG WRONG WRONG"

I think my chinese vocab is not bad you know.
